Shakarkandi Ka Halwa | Sweet Potato Halwa
Ingredients:-- Shakarkandi/Sweet Potato 1kg
- Milk 2 glass
- Sugar 12 Tbsp
- Almond as required
- Cardamom Powder (seeds of 4-5 piece)
- Ghee 4-5 Tbsp
Method:-
- Take Shakarkandi/sweet potato and cut the upper and lower end.
- Take a pan, add Approx 1 liter of water.
- Boil Sweet Potatoes in it
- Once they are nicely boiled, remove their skin and mash them.
- Keep it aside.
- Cut almonds into small pieces for garnish.
- Take a pan and add ghee to it.
- Once it is heated, add mashed sweet potatoes and mix it well.
- Add milk and sugar and mix all together nicely.
- Cook for 10 mins and then add half of the cut almonds to it.
- Mix all together well.
- Add cardamom powder and mix it well
- Shakarkandi halwa is ready, garnish with almonds.
