Murgh Cholay

Ingredients:-

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Chickpeas 1cup Soaked in water for 2 hours
  • Onion 2 medium sized finely chopped
  • Garlic Paste 1tsp
  • Ginger paste 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1tsp
  • Salt
  • Tumeric 1tsp
  • Red chili 1tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Butter 2 tsp
  • Tomato 2- 3 medium
  • Greem chili 5-6
  • Yogurt 1cup
  • Masoor dal 1/4 cup
  • Freshly cut Coriander
Method:-
  • Boil Chickpeas 
  • Take a pan, add oil fry onion until it turns golden add ginger and garlic paste, turmeric, salt, red chili, and mix it well.
  • Add 1-2 tsp water and fry it for few minutes
  • Add Masoor daal, chicken, and boiled chickpeas and mix it well.
  • After mixing it well add 2 cups of water and covered it for 25 minutes.
  • After the chicken is completely cooked add butter, coriander, and green chilies.
  • serve with naan, rice, raita, and salad.
Tip:-
  • Add salt and metha soda in the pan when chickpeas are boiling.
