Ingredients:-

  • Yellow split Lentils (moong dal) Half cup
  • Urad (mash, split skinless black lentils) Half cup
  • Red Lentils (Masoor Dal) Half cup
  • Split Chickpeas (Channa Dal) Half cup
  • Barley (Jau) 250grams
  • Wheat seeds (Gandum) 250 grams
  • Chicken 1kg
  • Fried Onion approx. 3-4 medium sized
  • Ginger and Garlic paste 2tsp
  • Handfull green coriander
  • Handfull Mint Leaves
  • Green chilis Chopped for garnished
  • Julienne Cut Ginger For garnished
  • Fried Onion crushed Half cup
  • Turmeric 1tsp
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • Chat masala 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1tsp
  • Kashmiri Lal Mirchi 1tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli 1tsp
  • Chicken yakhni (broth/stock)

Method:-
  • Take a Big Bowl and add moong dal, mash dal, masoor dal, channa dal, jau, gandum in it.
  • Mix it and washed them well
  • After washing them, soaked them in water for 3-4 hours.
  • Add around 3 times more water than the lentils or pulses.
  • After 3-4 hours of soaking, boil them.
  • Boil them till the lentils/pulses are nicely cooked.
  • It will take approx. 1 hour or so.
  • Once it's Completely Cooked, Let it cool for a few minutes.
  • After Cooling it, Blend them nicely and collect them in a big pot.
  • Consistency will be thick
  • When done with blending, place a tawa on flame and put the pot of blended pulses in low flame 
  • On other hand, Take another pan to add oil to it 
  • Add ginger garlic paste, Garam Masala, Black pepper, turmeric, Red chilli, Kashmiri Lal mirchi, chat masala, salt, fried crushed onion and mix it well
  • Add chicken Yakhni as required.
  • Mix well
  • Add shredded boiled chicken and mix it again
  • Add yakhni as required
  • Also, you can add water if needed.
  • When masala is ready, add this masala in blended lentils/pulses and mix all together
  • Cooked for 2-5 Minutes
  • Serve it 
  • Garnished it with green chillies lemon fried onion coriander and mint leaves and ginger.
